The GMP+ Database of road transport is based on the load classifications in GMP+ BA14 Minimum Requirements for Road Transport. The database offers, however, many opportunities to expand the information in this list. Synonyms and brand names of products can, for example, be added and it is possible to add the description of products and other relevant information. We invite users of the database to make suggestions for the improvement of the database via the response form.
From the 18th of December 2007 the organizations Qualimat, OVOCOM and PDV (the precursor of GMP+ International) have achieved mutual recognition of their systems with respect to road transport. This mutual recognition is based on application of this common database. On the one hand, the safety and the quality of the road transport of feed is to be increased. On the other hand, the work of internationally-operating companies will be made easier.
