Postponing implementation GMP+ Feed Safety Management System Certification.
21 September 2016
On the 8th of September 2016 you were informed by a newsletter that GMP+ Interna-tional published a new set of C-documents (GMP+ C3, GMP+ C6, GMP+ C7 and GMP+ C11) on our website and withdrew the GMP+ C2. Because of deficiencies observed by the Dutch Council of Accreditation (RvA) related to the NEN-EN-ISO/IEC 17021 and NPR-ISO/TS 22003, GMP+ International could not publish the new GMP+ C10 Acceptation re-quirements and Procedure for Certification Bodies and the GMP+ C12 Assessment and Certification Criteria for GMP+ Certification – Feed Safety Management System Certifica-tion yet.
At this moment GMP+ International is working in collaboration with some Dutch Certification Bodies and the RvA to close the observed deficiencies.
Because we are not able to publish these documents yet this has influence on the implementation date of the Feed Safety Management System Certification in accordance with GMP+ C12 (hereafter FSMS Certification) and the withdrawal date of the GMP+ C3/C6 Assessment and Certification Criteria for GMP+ Certification Product/Process which was presented to you in our Transition Period document during our harmonization meeting in Hannover, Germany the 22nd of June 2016.
On the 6th of October 2016 there is a meeting of the subcommittee Certification & Compliance. During this meeting it is the objective to establish a new implementation date for FSMS Certification and a new withdrawal date for the GMP+ C3/C6. After this meeting we will send you the updated Transition Period document as soon as possible.
To maintain an equal level playing field between GMP+ accepted Certification Bodies (especially related to audit times) we recommend not to apply for FSMS Acceptation until further notice.
