Specific feed safety standards

For HACCP, it is important that it is established for every critical control point (CCP) what are the measurement values in which a safe product can be delivered.

Within the GMP+ certification scheme, this value is called the ‘rejection limit’. To prevent rejection of products where possible, action limits have been established as well. Both the rejection and action limits are included in Appendix 1 of the GMP+ Feed Certification Scheme (GMP+ BA1). The standards are classified in three categories: microbiological, chemical and physical. Within each category, the limits are sorted alphabetically.
