GMP+ International will continue recognising the Book & Claim (B&C) and Mass Balance (MB) supply chain models for responsible soy beyond 31 December 2026.
This applies to GMP+ certified companies certified for the following scope:
Furthermore
The current wording that these supply chain models are recognised “until at least 31 December 2026” remains valid.
Companies can therefore continue using B&C and MB after this date. The existing recognition does not automatically end on 31 December 2026.
If a future decision affects the recognition or use of these supply chain models, GMP+ International will inform certified companies in good time.
This continuation is aligned with QS in the QS-Soyplus module and OVOCOM in the DC-02 module.
EUDR requirements remain applicable
The continued recognition of B&C and MB does not change a company’s legal responsibilities under the EU Deforestation Regulation. Regardless of the supply chain model used, companies must meet the applicable EUDR requirements for the physical soy or soy products they place on or make available on the EU market.
