Always check the status of companies in the GMP+ Company database

The strength of our scheme lies in our unique chain approach. GMP+ certified companies only do business with other certified companies or certified through mutual recognized schemes. Because all companies meet the same high standards through applying safe and sustainable principles in their own unique settings, we create a uniform chain.

This is why it is important to always check the certification status of your business partners in the GMP+ Company database. The GMP+ Company database contains details of all the organisations in the GMP+ Community. It’s the up-to-date source of information on the actual certification status of GMP+ certified companies.

Take responsibility: check the status yourself

As a GMP+ certified company, you are responsible for checking the certification status of a company before making use of their products and/or services. You can use the filters in the GMP+ Company database to easily search by:

  • Company name or city/country
  • Company status (temporary accepted, certified, suspended or withdrawn)
  • Certification scope

What do the statuses mean?

  • Temporary accepted
A company which is working on becoming GMP+ certified. It can perform GMP+ activities for the relevant scope(s) but is not allowed to use the GMP+ FSA or GMP+ FRA logo yet. The temporary acceptance has a maximum period of four months.
  • Certified
The company is complying with the GMP+ requirements for the relevant scope(s) and is allowed to offer GMP+ assured products and/or services.
  • Suspended
The company is suspended because currently, it does not meet the GMP+ requirements. During the suspension period of maximum 3 months, the company is not allowed to offer any GMP+ assured products and/or services.
  • Withdrawn
The certificate has been withdrawn with two possible reasons for the withdrawal.
    1.  “Does not meet requirements”: The company is excluded from participating in the GMP+ Feed Certification scheme for at least 1 year.
    2. “Cancellation of agreement”: The company has decided to stop with offering GMP+ assured products and/or services themselves.
