As communicated on 05.02.2026, GMP+ International will not renew the GMP+ Feed Certification scheme License Agreement with DNV Business Assurance Italy S.R.L (hereafter DNV), effective from 15.07.2026.
Your GMP+ certificate issued by DNV Business Assurance Italy S.R.L. will therefore end on 15.07.2026, even if the end date of your certificate is after this date.
After 15.05.2026 DNV cannot perform any GMP+ audits anymore. What are the consequences of this?
- If your audit is planned already with DNV until 15.05.2026 this audit can still be performed by DNV.
- If your audit has not been planned/confirmed yet and must be performed before the 15.05.2026 you can also decide to have this audit performed by a new GMP+ accepted certification body of your choice.
- If your audit must be performed after 15.05.2026 this audit must be performed by a new GMP+ accepted certification body of your choice.
For planning of your audits and continuation of your GMP+ certification please follow the steps below:
- According to article 4.7 of the F0.1 Rights and obligations, your company must conclude a contract with a new Certification Body latest 15.07.2026. We recommend you to start with this process as soon as possible.
- You are free to choose a new Certification Body yourself. The first step is to look for an accepted Certification Body, which you can find in the GMP+ company database.
- Use the filters on the left-hand side to find Certification Bodies that are active in your country.

- Click on the registration number of the Certification Body to check:
- whether the Certification Body offers your scope;
- their contact details under the tab General information.
Important Note:
GMP+ International has implemented a special transfer procedure which will reduce the impact of the transfer as much as possible. Below you will find the key elements of this transfer procedure.
- Continuation of the original validity of your GMP+ certificate.
- Continuation of the audit frequency during the 3 years certification cycle without starting with an initial certification audit or any additional audit(s).
You can discuss this procedure with the new Certification Body of your choice. The final decision of using or not using this special procedure is always made by your new Certification Body.
The new Certification Body will ask for the following information:
- finalized audit report(s) to demonstrate that the audit frequency of three audits per certification cycle has been respected.
- Status of open non-conformities.
- Any other relevant documentation.
