Use of GMP+ Logos and Trademarks

GMP+ logos and trademarks represent compliance with recognised feed safety and responsibility standards. Their use is strictly regulated to ensure clarity and trust. Please note that the use of a GMP+ logo does not, in itself, prove certification. Certification is only valid if a company is listed in the GMP+ Company database.

When you may use the logo 

GMP+ logos may only be used by certified companies and accepted certification bodies, and only in the following ways: 

  • On or near business locations and transport vehicles  

  • On your website  

  • On documents related to products or services within the scope of your GMP+ certification  

Logos must always be used in the official design and colours provided by GMP+ International (including approved black and white versions).

When you may NOT use the logo 

Use of GMP+ logos is not permitted: 

  • On products, labels, or packaging (e.g. bags, bulk packaging or pallets)  

  • If your company is not listed in the GMP+ Company database  

  • If your company has temporary acceptance status 

Misuse and enforcement 

Any misuse of GMP+ logos or trademarks must be reported to GMP+ International without delay. GMP+ International and Certification Bodies are authorised to take appropriate action in case of misuse. 

Prohibited use 

Users are not permitted to: 

  • Create or use logos that resemble or refer to GMP+ logos or trademarks 

  • Register GMP+ logos or trademarks, in whole or in part, or any variation thereof  

  • Use GMP+ logos or trademarks in a company name, product name, or service name  

Any violation may result in liability for damages and associated costs.
