GMP+ FRA Requirements

These documents outline the conditions companies must meet to obtain certification under the GMP+FRA (Feed Responsibility Assurance) module of our GMP+ Feed Certification scheme. They include general system Requirements (R-documents) and additional requirements for specific Market Initiatives (MI-documents).

A company seeking GMP+ FRA certification should:

• Implement a Feed Responsibility Management System in line with the R5.0 Feed Responsibility Management Systems Requirements

• Review and comply with any applicable Market Initiative documents (e.g. responsible pig & poultry feed, GMO-controlled, carbon footprint)

• Ensure documentation is in place (e.g. purchasing policies, traceability systems and recognised sourcing standards) to demonstrate compliance during audits
