Collective Knowledge Program launches first microlearning on feed safety culture

Tuesday, March 15, 2022

The content of the GMP+ Academy is growing fast. Following the launch of the transport microlearning modules in early February, GMP+ International is now rolling out a series on feed safety culture in partnership with the Collective Knowledge Program (CKP). Various subjects will be covered over the coming months. The first microlearning in this series will be available on the platform from 16 March 2022.

A microlearning is an accessible way of sharing basic knowledge and skills about feed safety. Firms can use them as refresher courses for staff or to train new employees. The modules last no more than ten minutes and contain lots of practical examples.

Raising awareness

The modules on feed safety culture are aimed at everyone who works in the feed industry, from cultivation to sale. The most important goal of the series is to raise awareness. We want to teach participants what it means to always have feed safety top of mind. Through various exercises, cases, and examples, we get them to reflect on their actions and inspire them to consciously contribute to the feed safety culture within their organisations. The first module of the series discusses the what and the why of feed safety. The microlearning modules are available in English.

A special partnership

This series of microlearning modules has been developed in partnership with the CKP of the GMP+ Academy. Feed experts from big names in the industry (AB Agri, De Heus, Trouw Nutrition and Veravis) combine their knowledge and experience in order to share information about feed safety culture with the world.

About the GMP+ Academy

The GMP+ Academy was launched in July 2021 by GMP+ International and leading international training institutes. The goal of the GMP+ Academy is to gather knowledge and share it with the global feed safety chain. The platform also offers professionals from the chain the opportunity to talk to one another.
